About Clone 3

At a top-secret facility, three clones are created by head Brazilian scientist, Dr. Francisco, with the hopes of finding a cure for his dying daughter Maria. Although each clone appears to be an exact physical replica of the five-year old Maria, internally each clone contains just one-third of her terminal illness. Tragically, Maria dies months later and with this devastating loss, Dr. Francisco relies on the three clones and begins raising them as if they’re his own. He gives each one of them a unique name: Maya, Mandi, and Melodie.

When Dr. Francisco discovers that his work will be used for strict military purposes rather than medical advances, he desperately starts erasing all of his data from the main computer network.

He then barricades the lab entrance once he realizes his access to the main computer has just been blocked.

With a nearby prototype time machine, he is able to send Melodie to the year 1971 and Mandi to the year 1997. His attempt to send the third and last clone is interrupted when he hears soldiers breaking down the lab door. He has just enough time to hide Maya in a ventilation shaft.

The ex-general, Alexander Wolfe, and his men, finally break into the room and gun down Dr. Francisco. Early the next morning, a young soldier finds Maya in a catatonic state and smuggles her back to his home.

Flashing forward, thirteen years have passed, the clones are now eighteen, and living three completely different lives: Mandi, the "present" clone, lives in 2010 and is a straight-A high-school student, Melodie, the "past" clone, lives in 1984 and is a famous singer/actress, and Maya, the "future" clone, lives in 2023 and is a spy for hire.

Everything seems normal until the day Maya receives an anonymous package at her doorstep. Curiously, she opens it and finds a single memory chip inside. Still intrigued, she inserts the chip into her computer. Maya's screen fills with multiple windows of surveillance footage from the day Dr. Francisco was murdered. These images bring back all the suppressed memories of that horrible night. They also trigger the memory of the existence of her "sisters". Confused and still looking for answers, Maya takes matters into her own hands and starts working on a plan to break into the same facility she escaped from thirteen years ago. Maya's plan is successful. She steals a working time device, which allows her to reunite with her "sisters" through time.

However, finding each other was the easy part. The three clones still must:

- Try to maintain and manage their previous life

- Search for the cure to their newly discovered terminal virus

- Fight against ex-general Alexander Wolfe and a futuristic military who are determined to track them down through time

- Learn how to co-exist within a completely new reality.
