Michael Jackson: The Experience Preview
Ubisoft's Just Dance game has sold something like 300 gabillion copies, so a version exclusively focusing on the biggest pop star ever makes perfect sense. Michael Jackson: The Experience doesn't carry the Just Dance name, but it can best be described as Just Dance with Michael Jackson songs. The developers tell us they are implementing a lot of what they learned working on Just Dance into The Experience. Players follow along to dance moves from a glowing silhouette of MJ played by a dance-a-like (he is very good). It's actually a pretty simple presentation: glowing MJ dances, the lyrics appear at the bottom of the screen, and the exact position you should be holding the Wii remote in is displayed in the upper right.
That's about all there is to it. As you dance each move is scored with words like "good" or "perfect." Anyone who likes to boogie and likes Michael Jackson will probably want in on this. Up to four players can dance at the same time. There isn't any sort of career or progression mode – you're just dancing along to your favorite MJ songs.
We only saw Michael Jackson on the Wii today, but it is also coming to Kinect, PlayStation Move, PSP, and DS. Here, you only need to hold the Wiimote and there are no buttons required during gameplay. The game is just looking for certain Wiimote positions (up in the air, to your side, etc…). You can follow along with either glowing MJ or the indicator in the upper right. The regular game mode is called Dance, but you can visit Dance School if you're having trouble learning MJ's moves.
We got to see two songs today: "Billie Jean" and "Working Day and Night." The Billie Jean "set" is decorated like the famous music video so leaves blow by as the sidewalk lights up under MJ's feet. Working Day and Night is set up like a '70s disco.
Ubisoft says by playing The Experience you'll actually learn how to dance like Michael Jackson. Although we didn't see it today, that apparently includes the famous Moonwalk. Of course, you can cheat and just hold the Wiimote in the position indicated if you want, but then you'll look pretty silly when it's time to hit up a real club. When the game comes to Kinect it will be reading your full body, from head to toe.
But Michael Jackson wasn't only about dancing – he was also a singer. The Experience on Wii scrolls the lyrics during a song but there doesn't seem to be any karaoke component. Perhaps this feature will be included with other versions of the game.

Michael Jackson Video Game Details Revealed
Since Michael Jackson unexpected death in June of 2009, fans have only been treated to a few unreleased tracks from the late King of Pop. But soon, they'll be able to see what it was like to be in MJ's shoes. Ubisoft, which previously announced the release of a Michael Jackson video game, has unveiled some of the details about 'Michael Jackson: The Experience,' slated for release this November.
The game -- available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii and Nintendo DS -- features unique motion technology that projects an image of gamers onto the screen as they attempt to mimic Jackson's signature dance moves. 'Your goal is to dance like Michael,' says Ubisoft's Tony Key. 'Do what the guy on the screen is doing and you're there. It'll score you based on the quality of your performance.'
Players will also be able to test their mic skills on the Xbox, PS3 and Wii editions, where they can sing karaoke to some of MJ's greatest hits. The Nintendo DS and PSP versions will be akin to music video game Elite Beat Agents, where users tap out rhythms on their screens to keep the beat of the tune, and will include a series of mini-games and quizzes.
In addition to 'Michael Jackson: The Experience,' fans can also look forward to the release of two new albums of unreleased material, one featuring music from recording sessions in the '80s and another including songs created with producer Rodney Jerkins. Janet Jackson Is A Cool Auntie
JANET JACKSON is the famous family's "cool auntie" - her brother MICHAEL's children go to her for help when they've misbehaved.
The Nasty hitmaker has more than 25 nieces and nephews and admits they all see her as a confidante who acts as a peacemaker between them and their parents - and she is more than happy with the role.
She tells Britain's You magazine, "I get texts and emails all day long from them. Auntie Janet this and Auntie Janet that. I'm the aunt that they come to when they think they're going to get in trouble. You know, 'I just got a tattoo, or a piercing. And my dad saw it last night and he wants to choke me! Can you talk to him, Auntie Janet?'"

About Clone 3
At a top-secret facility, three clones are created by head Brazilian scientist, Dr. Francisco, with the hopes of finding a cure for his dying daughter Maria. Although each clone appears to be an exact physical replica of the five-year old Maria, internally each clone contains just one-third of her terminal illness. Tragically, Maria dies months later and with this devastating loss, Dr. Francisco relies on the three clones and begins raising them as if they’re his own. He gives each one of them a unique name: Maya, Mandi, and Melodie.
When Dr. Francisco discovers that his work will be used for strict military purposes rather than medical advances, he desperately starts erasing all of his data from the main computer network.
He then barricades the lab entrance once he realizes his access to the main computer has just been blocked.
With a nearby prototype time machine, he is able to send Melodie to the year 1971 and Mandi to the year 1997. His attempt to send the third and last clone is interrupted when he hears soldiers breaking down the lab door. He has just enough time to hide Maya in a ventilation shaft.
The ex-general, Alexander Wolfe, and his men, finally break into the room and gun down Dr. Francisco. Early the next morning, a young soldier finds Maya in a catatonic state and smuggles her back to his home.
Flashing forward, thirteen years have passed, the clones are now eighteen, and living three completely different lives: Mandi, the "present" clone, lives in 2010 and is a straight-A high-school student, Melodie, the "past" clone, lives in 1984 and is a famous singer/actress, and Maya, the "future" clone, lives in 2023 and is a spy for hire.
Everything seems normal until the day Maya receives an anonymous package at her doorstep. Curiously, she opens it and finds a single memory chip inside. Still intrigued, she inserts the chip into her computer. Maya's screen fills with multiple windows of surveillance footage from the day Dr. Francisco was murdered. These images bring back all the suppressed memories of that horrible night. They also trigger the memory of the existence of her "sisters". Confused and still looking for answers, Maya takes matters into her own hands and starts working on a plan to break into the same facility she escaped from thirteen years ago. Maya's plan is successful. She steals a working time device, which allows her to reunite with her "sisters" through time.
However, finding each other was the easy part. The three clones still must:
- Try to maintain and manage their previous life
- Search for the cure to their newly discovered terminal virus
- Fight against ex-general Alexander Wolfe and a futuristic military who are determined to track them down through time
- Learn how to co-exist within a completely new reality.

The teaser for Code Z: The Series will be officially launched on the 29th of this month. This date is VERY special to me . I'm sure everyone knows by now that August the 29th happens to be the birth date of the greatest entertainer that ever lived. PERIOD.
As Code Z: The Series is dedicated to the memory of my uncle Michael, I couldn't pick a better date to "officially launch my directing career". My uncle was both my inspiration for directing and my partner in crime when it came to studying movies and learning about filmmaking. It's been really hard continuing this dream without him.
Not only do I want Code Z: The Series to succeed for professional reasons, but I know my uncle is watching over me right now and I want to make him proud. I could really use everyone's help in spreading the news about Code Z: The Series. My uncle use to light up when we talked about making films together, it was such a passion of his. I know come Aug the 29th, with your help, he will be smiling down at me.

Usher To Release The Final Chapter of Raymond V. Raymond was a top story. Here it is again: Usher is following up his 'Raymond V. Raymond' album with eight new songs with the release of 'Versus,' on August 24th.
On that day Usher fans will also have the opportunity to purchase Raymond V. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition) which will contain all songs from Raymond V. Raymond as well as Versus. The new set will include his current R&B hit "There Goes My Baby" and collaborations with Bun B, producer Polow Da Don and others.
Versus is a conceptual sequel and final chapter of Raymond V. Raymond -- an album in which Usher uses music to explore the dichotomies of his life as a newly single man/father. The lead single from the new set is "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" featuring Pitbull and is produced by the inimitable Max Martin -- who has worked with some of the top pop artists in the world including P!nk, Katy Perry and Britney Spears. "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" will be delivered to radio stations world-wide this coming Monday morning. Shortly after, "Hot Tottie" produced by the hitmaker Polow, will be delivered to radio on August 9th.
Released late spring of 2010, Raymond V. On that day Usher fans will also have the opportunity to purchase Raymond V. Raymond (The Deluxe Edition) which will contain all songs from Raymond V. Raymond as well as Versus. The new set will include his current R&B hit "There Goes My Baby" and collaborations with Bun B, producer Polow Da Don and others.
Versus is a conceptual sequel and final chapter of Raymond V. Raymond -- an album in which Usher uses music to explore the dichotomies of his life as a newly single man/father. The lead single from the new set is "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" featuring Pitbull and is produced by the inimitable Max Martin -- who has worked with some of the top pop artists in the world including P!nk, Katy Perry and Britney Spears. "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" will be delivered to radio stations world-wide this coming Monday morning. Shortly after, "Hot Tottie" produced by the hitmaker Polow, will be delivered to radio on August 9th.
Released late spring of 2010, Raymond V. Raymond reclaimed Usher's dominance on the charts, debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums and R&B Albums charts spawning five hit singles: "Papers," "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)," "Lil Freak" featuring Nikki Minaj, "There Goes My Baby" and the pervasive summer smash, "OMG" featuring will.i.am. Additionally, Raymond V. Raymond held the No. 1 spot on Billboard's R&B Album chart for seven weeks and since has sold over six million tracks and ringtones combined.
Usher's ninth No. 1 single, "OMG," has had over 3 million tracks and ringtones to date and held the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 Singles chart for four weeks in a row. The song hit No. 1 on the Nielsen RingScan chart and continues to chart in the Top 10 for its tenth consecutive week. "OMG" enjoyed international success as well, reaching No. 1 on the iTunes chart in both the UK and Australia. Usher's world domination extended through Canada (No. 1 airplay & Gold album), Ireland (No. 1), New Zealand (No. 1 airplay) and Sweden (Top 10 CHR).
This July, Usher will perform concerts in Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, Beijing and Macau. On July 11th, at Wukesong Arena in Beijing, Usher will be joined by Asia's top R&B star Wang Leehom for a joint performance.
